Aru Zombie Shoujo no Sainan is a horror anime movie about a Baron's daughter, Euphrosyne Studion, who has been asleep for the past 100 years. That is until some members of the Occult club awaken her and her maid, Alma. You would think after 100 years slumber she would be in a good mood, but she's not! This anime has some brutal killings, feeding our hunger for anime gore and adding to our list of Splaturday anime in October.
If you like the brutality Higurashi no naku koro ni or the gore of Corpse Party this anime will not disappoint you. We enjoyed the killings, the gorier the better! The plot doesn't have many twists, being pretty much straight forward from the start. We only wished that the Occult club had more members.... If you enjoy a good horror anime with gore, then use an hour and twenty minutes to watch Calamity of a Zombie Girl.
