Author of Berserk, Kentarou Miura, died on May 6th, but this was announced a few hours ago. Berserk began publishing in 1989, and recieved multiple anime adaptations. The manga sold over 40 million total copies, making it one of the best selling manga of all time.
Berserk meant a lot to me, and a lot to many people worldwide. His work affected a lot of people and he will surely be missed, his incredible storytelling is still with us. It's difficult to write that he's died. I don't want to believe it. I woke up, checked Twitter, and everyone was talking about Berserk all of a sudden. Then I see an announcement.
