In the state of Lisvalletta crime and illegal drugs run rampant. Criminals have turned to the use of Anthem, an illegal drug that enhances your abilities to superhuman levels. This is where Seven-0 has jurisdiction and captures criminals that choose to use Anthem. Kirill is just a normal beat cop that has dreams of being a hero, like his friend and fellow officer, Jefferson. After helping capture an Anthem using criminal, Kirill is offered a job working in Seven-0 (an opportunity that was first offered to Jefferson, who turned it down). We love the animation style of this anime and the storyline seems solid enough. We're on board with Double Decker!, and will see if Kirill ever becomes the hero he dreams of becoming.
