We must start off with a sincere apology on this review. We are sorry we totally missed this anime at the start of the season, due in large part, because of the misleading title. Happy Sugar Life is based off of the 2015 horror manga. It follows Satou Matsuzaka who thinks she is in love with a mysterious girl named Shio. In typical yandere fashion Satou does not allow ANYONE to come between her and her love interest, Shio. We are definitely going to catch up and follow this anime to the end and hope you do too. Just be prepared, it gets dark fast.
