I know, I know. This is WAY too late. I had this review written but just kept forgetting to post it up. I swear! Based off the light novel, How NOT to summon a demon lord is another gem of the season. A plot and a flat, what more could you ask for in an anime, right?!? Takuma Sakamoto is a hikikomori gamer who is summoned to his favorite game Cross Reverie and appears as his own character in the game. Summoned by Rem and Shera, who attempt to make Takuma their slave but his magic reflection ability turns them into his slaves, Takuma travels the land of Cross Reverie searching for a way to remove the collars from his would be masters, solving their personal problems along the way. This anime is safe for work or school but has some racy moments. The comedy brings a fresh touch to the "trapped in a game world" plot. This will be in the top 5 anime for this season, which is a big accomplishment considering the shoo-ins (Overlord 3 and AoT 3) taking 2 of the spots. Being late in the season, this anime is still worth catching up on. Give it a look if you haven't already.
