Well, we've mentioned Val x Love this season, now meet the competition. Jet Girls is packed with enough fanservice even for the most indulgent fans. The story follows Rin Namiki, as she tries to follow in her mother's footsteps to become a Champion Jet Ski driver. The competition is altered slightly from an all out race. Each team has a driver and a shooter, whose job it is to shoot the opposing team while navigating the course.
It starts with Rin as a child watching her mother on television win a championship. She is enamored by her mother. She switches schools in order to go to a school in Tokyo, where the races are held. She is paired with her roommate Misa Aoi, an introvert with previous racing experience and a backstory that ended in tragedy. They only hint to the backstory in the first episode but we expect it to be explained as the season progresses. This anime should be light enough to miss an episode but still be able to follow the story.
This anime is based off the video game of the same name (pictured below), which is available for various platforms. It should be no surprise that TNK studio produced this given their previous titles : High School DxD, Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai, and Itsudatte My Santa!, all titles are heavy on the fanservice. We expect Rin to race to victory as her roommate Misa comes out of her shell a little each episode.
