What I'm Going to be Watching for the Fall 2019 Season

Well would you look at that, it's October already! And you know what that means, a new season of anime, and tons of shows to look forward to! We've got a lot to get through, so let's begin!

Boku no Hero Academia Season 4

The hype machine of the season, the ultra popular Boku no Hero Academia is back with a fourth season. This series has been one I didn't really expect to like, as it seemed really generic to me at first, and to be honest, it kind of is. The parralels it had to Naruto got a bit annoying, especially during the second season. However, I've still highly enjoyed all of it, and I'm defintely ready for more. Let's hope for more badass fight scenes and explosions!

Psycho Pass 3

Another highly anticipated show this season, Psycho Pass has been a favourite of many since its first season premiered back in 2012. The first season was breathtaking, with it's interesting portrayal of a dystopian society being from a perspective we don't get to see very often, law enforcement. The later installments haven't been as well recieved as the first one, so my expectations are fairly lukewarm. But most exciting about this season is that unlike most anime, Psycho Pass 3 will have an unusual episode count, eight episodes to be exact, with each being 45 minutes. So while most of the original staff isn't back, the sheer production value of this is certainly exciting.

Bokutachi wa Benkyo ga Dekinai Season 2

This sequel to a harem show I covered earlier back in Spring isn't that exciting, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. It doesn't really do anything that makes it stand out from other shows in the same genre, but it does it well, and sometimes all you need for an enjoyable show are cute girls and an upbeat OP.

No Guns Life

No lie, this is probably the show I'm most excited for. I've read some of the manga, and it's insane, in more ways than just one. If the fact that the main characters head is a freaking gun didn't catch your attention, then I don't know what will. It's an awesome action story with explosions, melancholic smoking scenes, and of course, lots of guns. If you're feeling a bit down, then I definetely reccomend you check out the manga, becaue it is one heck of a blast to read through.

Ahiru no Sora

This seems like it's going to be a bit of a less popular show this season, but I still have my hopes up. I haven't read any of the manga, but I really want to watch more sports related shows, and the character designs for this one looked cool, so I'm going to be checking out at least a few episodes of this. The premise also seems pretty similar to Haikyuu, just with basketball, so there's that.

Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy

Not gonna lie, I enjoy watching cute boys do wacky stuff just as much as I enjoy watching cute girls do the same. That's really the only reason I'm watching it.
